How to download it #
Five steps on NTA's portal, using the application number you were given when you submitted the form.
- Go to NTA's NEET portal, neet.nta.nic.in. Reach it by typing the address yourself rather than through a search result — admit-card season attracts copycat sites.
- Open the NEET 2027 Admit Card link on the home page.
- Enter your application number, date of birth and the security pin shown on screen.
- Check every field on the card before you leave the page — see what to verify below. Mistakes are far easier to correct now than in the week of the exam.
- Download the PDF and print it. Keep the file as well, and print more than one copy.
Your application number comes from the application form you submitted. If you have lost it, the portal has a retrieval option that works from your registered email and date of birth — sort that out before release day, not on it.
What to check on it #
Check every field the day you download it. An error found in April is an administrative fix; the same error found at the centre is not.

The centre is allotted by NTA from the preferences you gave, and it is not negotiable once printed. Look at the address properly: candidates are routinely allotted a centre in a different city from the one they expected. See the exam centres page for how allotment works.
If any field is wrong, raise it with NTA immediately through the contact details on the portal. Do not annotate or correct the printed card yourself — a hand-altered admit card can be rejected at the gate.
What to carry #
The printed admit card, a passport photograph, and one original photo ID. Nothing on this list is optional.
- The printed admit card, on A4, with the declaration filled in. A copy on your phone is not accepted.
- A passport-size photograph — the same one you uploaded — to be pasted in the space provided. Carry a spare.
- One original photo ID: Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, voter ID or school photo ID. The name on it must match the admit card.
- A recent postcard-size photograph, where the admit card instructions ask for one to be handed in at the centre.

Expected timeline #
Release usually falls two to three weeks before the paper — but NTA has published nothing for 2027 yet.

NTA issues a city intimation slip before the admit card itself. That slip tells you the city only, so you can arrange travel; it is not the admit card and will not get you into the hall. The full cycle is on the NEET 2027 page.
NEET 2026 is the reminder that a published schedule is not a guarantee: the 3 May paper was cancelled and the exam re-held on 21 June, which moved every downstream date with it.
